Who we are

This Privacy Policy covers the information about the personal data we collect on followthesisters.com, bg.followthesisters.com, and shop.followthesisters.com. Here are some useful definitions:

“WE” refers to Nina & Ellie Alexander, also known as The Sisters. The websites described above a personal blog project operated by Nina & Ellie.

THE WEBSITES: refers to the described three websites (www.followthesisters.com, www.bg.followthesisters.com, and www.shop.followthesisters.com) and any other subdomains we may add in the future.

Information you provide to us.

The information you provide to us voluntarily includes any and all information you purposely submit to us via our website. This submission may come via:

  • Signing up for a newsletter;
  • Creating an account on our websites;
  • Purchasing with us;
  • Sending us an email enquiry;
  • Participating in a contest, raffle, or another form of online or offline activity requires that we have your information to contact you back.

When you provide your information to us, we will store and process this information only about the reason you provided this information. Following is a more detailed clarification.

When signing up for a newsletter your information is transmitted via our website’s secure connection. The information is then received to our email accounts, added to MailChimp (Privacy Policy), and our CRM System (Privacy Policy). Your information is deleted from our email accounts within 48h of submission and removed from our mail servers within 2 weeks. It then continues to be stored in MailChimp and our CRM system for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletters. Each newsletter contains an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email which allows you to cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation of your subscription, your data is erased from our MailChimp account and our CRM system.

When creating an account on our website(s) your information is transmitted via our website’s secure connection. The information is then received to our email accounts and added to our CRM System (please view our Privacy Policy for more details). Your information is deleted from our email accounts within 48h of submission and removed from our mail servers within 2 weeks. Your information continues to be stored on our CRM system for as long as you have an account on our website. When you choose to delete your account from our website(s) you can do so by the “Delete account” section within your account. Once you delete your account, your information is erased from our CRM system within 14 working days.

When purchasing on our website(s), you ultimately create an account and the above rules apply. Your information is transmitted via the secure connection on our website. The information is then received to our email accounts and added to our CRM System (Privacy Policy). Your information is deleted from our email accounts within 48h of submission and removed from our mail servers within 2 weeks. Your information continues to be stored on our CRM system for as long as you have an account on our website. When you choose to delete your account from our website(s) you can do so by the “Delete account” section within your account. Once you delete your account, your information is erased from our CRM system within 14 working days.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not process, nor collect any payment information. All payments on our website(s) are processed via PayPal. For PayPal’s Privacy Policy, please search the internet for PayPal Privacy Statement for your country of residence.

When you send us an email enquiry your information is transmitted via the secure connection on our website. The information is then received within our email accounts and added to our CRM System (Privacy Policy). Your information is kept in our email accounts for as long as we need to respond to your enquiry. Enquiries older than 6 months are erased from our email accounts and our mail servers. Your information continues to be stored on our CRM system for analytics purposes. You can request the removal of this information at any time via contacting us at hi@followthesisters.com.

Anonymous Information

On all of our websites, we collect anonymised information via cookies. This information helps us understand how our users interact with the website. This information doesn’t collect any personal data, except for general information such as browser language, country location, and a few more details. Right to access to your information

You can request to know what information we have for you and in what system this information is stored. You can also request that we delete any information we have for you. To request access or deletion of information, please contact us at hi@followthesisters.com. Your enquiry will be processed within 7 working days. Although highly unlikely, if we haven’t contacted you back within 7 working days, this may mean that we have not received your enquiry. In such occasion, please contact us via any of our social media profiles.
